Break-In Mark's Union Tires of Brockville
This week the Ontario Provincial Police, Crime Stoppers and Mark’s Union Tires of Brockville are asking for your assistance in solving a case of Break, Enter and Theft.
Sometime overnight on November 27th 2008, a padlock was cut off the storage trailer that was used to house winter tires for the business which is located on the corner of Lynn Road and County Road 2, in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township.
Once inside the trailer, suspects removed 52 winter tires of various makes and sizes. It is suspected that a cube van or large style pick-up truck was used in order to steal the tires.
The value of the stolen Michelin and Bridgestone tires is reported to be approximately $5,000.
