Dream Weaver Robbery


For the week of July 28th, 2008


Crime Stoppers and the Brockville Police are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of an armed robbery which occurred at the Dream Weaver Gift Store located at 20 King St.in Brockville.


Between 5:05-5:15 pm a lone male entered the store and selected a number of items off the store shelves and placed them at the cash. He then spoke the lone employee about a pair of shoes until the other customers in the store left. When the other customers left the store he approached the employee at the cash register and showed a hand gun and demanded money from the till. He then loaded an undisclosed amount of money in a bag and fled last seen headed east on King Street on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, tanned, in his mid to late 20’s, slender to medium build, 5’6”-5’8”, wearing blue jeans, a light coloured shirt, sun glasses, and a dark coloured ball cap backwards.

Where is Byron Parker?

Crime Stoppers and Kingston Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a male who has been missing since June 2, 2008.

Byron Stanley Neil PARKER (51yrs) was reported missing on June 6, 2008 by a family member who has concerns for his welfare. Byron is described to be a white male, approximately 5’6, 140lbs with short black hair, brown eyes and a mustache.

Byron is known to frequent the Kingston, Belleville, Yarker and Pembroke areas.

Stolen Memories / Too Good to be True?

Stolen Property / Stolen Memories!

Members of Frontenac OPP Detachment need your help in finding the person responsible for a break and enter and theft in the Tett Lane area on July 2, 2008. While there were a number of items that were stolen from the residence, the most significant was two full sets of antique sterling silver cutlery that was stored in dark wooden chests. The cutlery was given to the victim by his Mother just before she passed away a short time ago. He is now left to deal with the loss of her and the loss of a precious gift from her.
