Help Solve a Home Invasion


Crime Stoppers and Leeds County OPP officers are hoping that you have information that will help them solve a vicious home invasion.
In the early morning hours of Thursday, July 5th, 2007, the suspect forced their way into the home of the victim, a 77-year-old woman. This home is located on County Road 2, in the area of Hudson Point Road in Elizabethown-Kitley Township. When confronted, the suspect beat the elderly victim unconscious, then fled the house in an unknown means and direction of travel. The motive for the break, enter and assault is also unknown.
A person of interest, seen in the area of this residence that same morning, is described as a tanned, white male, between 35 and 40 years of age, weighing 170-180 lbs., 5'9" tall with very short dark hair. He is believed to have been wearing a dark purple or maroon coloured T-shirt, black shorts and black safety style shoes.
